Dental Technology

At Park Dental Arts, we provide dental care with precision and accuracy, for patients of all ages. We want our patients to not only enjoy the results of their procedures, but also enjoy their time in the office. To offer care with precision and comfort, we’ve implemented advanced digital imaging as part of our treatment process, from conducting a detailed diagnosis to designing custom crowns for same-day placement!

Digital X-Rays and Intraoral Cameras

With digital x-rays, we can obtain clear images of your teeth, roots, and jaw with a fraction of the radiation of traditional x-rays. In addition: no uncomfortable bitewings and the images are taken instantly chairside. You spend less time in the chair, and obtain a more accurate and precise diagnosis. We can obtain panoramic images of your smile with digital x-rays too, so we can diagnose issues ranging from tooth decay and injuries to infections and more. Along with x-rays to peer under gums and deep inside your mouth, we also obtain high-definition images of the surfaces of your teeth with intraoral cameras, which provide incredibly detailed images chairside!

3D CT Scanning Systems

Our team employs 3D CT scans to measure bone density and identify the position of the teeth, which can be very helpful when planning dental implant placement, tooth extraction, or even the diagnosis of issues like TMJ disorder. Our team can also employ this as part of the planning process for orthodontic treatment.

Primescan for Same-Day Restorations

When we create crowns and other restorations, or TMJ appliances, we don’t need to rely on physical impressions. No more biting down on molds filled with gooey material! Instead, we use a small handheld intraoral scanner. The Primescan device allows us to take pictures of your teeth from multiple angles quickly and comfortably, which we then combine to create a detailed 3D impression of your smile. The model is then used with our CEREC machine to create lifelike crowns and prosthetics in the same visit, which we then immediately place. These models also enable our team to design custom oral appliances, ensuring they fit comfortably and provide treatment with precision.
