For Dr. Hilda Meza-Thompson, her passion for dental care started in childhood. She fell in love with dentistry at a young age, assisting at her mother’s dental practice. She studied hard and in 2000 graduated with honors from UABC, one of the top dental universities in Mexico.
She then sharpened her clinical skills by attending UCLA’s School of Dentistry. In 2007, Dr. Meza-Thompson relocated to beautiful San Diego and started practicing at Park Dental Arts.
Dr. Hilda loves to provide personalized dental care in a respectful and compassionate atmosphere, supported by her amazing team. She always looks forward to getting to know her patients while providing them the care they need!
Dr. Meza-Thompson continues to improve and expand her knowledge of general dentistry with continuing education courses, and has trained in same-day restorations, Invisalign®, sedation, CEREC same-day restorations, and implant dentistry. She obtained Invisalign Certifications I and II, CA Oral Conscious Sedation Licensure, and is a Fellow in Oral Implantology with the California Implant Institute. Dr. Meza-Thompson is also an Associate Fellow with the World Clinical Laser Institute.
She is an active member of the San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Club, American Dental Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, California Dental Association, and the San Diego Dental Society, and Rotary International. She also volunteers with the topDentists program. Dr. Meza-Thompson values honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic, and strives to offer each and every patient the gentle and effective care they deserve.
When she isn’t improving smiles of all ages at her San Diego practice, Dr. Meza-Thompson loves to spend time with her family, listen to audiobooks, and enjoy interesting conversations over a good meal.
